All the world's a stage

In India the acting industry is like a one trick pony, good looks and physique as far as acting goes and another special flair to it.. DANCING!!! As Victor Banerjee had once quoted,"In India, we love music. We do not have just action or thriller movies, its always a musical action movie or a musical thriller movie, or a musical romantic movie!" I must say, very well said. I was going through the much famous "Dracula's lament" of "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" and noticed that its voice had an uncanny resemblance to Jason Segel's voice, so I google-d it to find that it indeed was sung by him. Very amazed as how he mimicked a Dracula's accent yet kept the little music in his accent that it required I further wiki-ed him(Yeah yeah I know..a lot of time leads you to do a lot of insane trivia hunting!). I found out that he is an American television and film actor, screenwriter and musician. His first show was "Freaks and Geeks", aired back in 1999. It had only one season after which the show got cancelled. Leading to further curiosity I found all familiar faces Linda Cardellini (Velma Dinkey in Scooby Doo), John Francis Daley (Jim, rookie chef in Kitchen confidential & the psychologist, Dr. Lance Sweets in Bones), James Franco (much famous Harry Osborn in The Spiderman trilogy), Seth Rogen (Ben Stone in Knocked up), Samm Levine(Spanky (Happy) in Sydney White,Bruce in Not Another Teen Movie).

All of these actors and many more have really worked hard to make it to the top. All of them have had glorious backgrounds for e.g. Seth Rogen began his career doing stand-up comedy for four years during his teens, coming in second place in the Vancouver Amateur Comedy Contest when he was 16. He is an actor, comedian, writer and film producer. He has also lent his voice to a number of animation movies like Shrek the Third, The Spiderwick Chronicles, Horton Hears a Who!, Kung Fu Panda, and Monsters vs. Aliens.

Jason Segel is an American television and film actor, screenwriter and musician.

Samm
Levine has appeared in numerous sitcoms like Boston Public, Yes, Dear, The Drew Carey Show, That's So Raven, That '70s Show, How I Met Your Mother, My Name Is Earl, Entourage, Veronica Mars and Family Guy. His film credits include Not Another Teen Movie,Sydney White and Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds and What I Like About you to name a few.

Another face that we keep seeing incessantly now is Paul Rudd. His first breakout performance on screen was in the movie Clueless starring along with Alicia Silverstone. But perhaps first time brought into notice by the famous TV sitcom Friends (Mike Hannigan) in its 10th season. After that roles were flocking him, starting from Knocked up to I love you, man. He followed the route to become one of the most coveted actors of now.

I guess in Hollywood one can really plot the way an actor has progressed and matured over the years. The starting point of almost all the actors named above were the same and yet almost all of them have successfully flared into bearing a full blown acting career whether be it in American Television or treading slowly yet steadily into Hollywood. Here's to people and their hard working and enduring spirits! Cheers.
