Blue Allergies

So you think four years is a reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally Loooooooong time to spend in a small place like Ranchi which when compared to your usual run from your house to your beloved school seems minuscule? A place where the autos(the only payable conveyance readily available) made more noise than the ill-fated oxygen cylinder which crippled down the Apollo 13 mid air along with its space crew! A place which had so many rules and restrictions that made Alcatraz seem like a cheap attempt at a joke! A place where the lackadaisical attitude of the administration made you feel like you have mistakenly stepped into a government office? A place where facilities elsewhere within an arm reach, seems like a big honour on being available altogether!

Alas! darn it..darn the human body for being so adaptable and liking even the subjection of such heinous evils and hell even learning to love the tiny little perks of the place.

Its just a big bag of "greenery"(:evil grin:) and hell..you get to love even that!

The beautiful way the O.C. road lights up with the fresh green leaves with the onset of spring, the discovery of the "This is where BITOTSAV used to be held 50 years ago" spots, breaking into the rocketry deptt. and clicking a gazillion pictures at the same, going to the river with a bed sheet, alu parathas ,oranges and spending a lazy winter morning with a friend reading novels and snacking every once in a while, falling asleep on a road, sleeping off on the newspaper in the library while solving the crossword, staying outs & everything. After all, being a frequent facebook-r, the concept that this huge flimsy bag of greenery really makes the pictures add a touch if its own magic!

The place definitely has its own charisma..be it in its very apparent love of good and variant music amidst a certain circle of people; taste of exquisite gourmet food; value for money ambience, food and my personal favourite..BIT discount! you get it everywhere, be it seventh heaven or capitol hill and even PALASH!..alas we don't get it in floats..lol.

Guess, its all part of the game..as ma always made us include in every essay during our childhood days," As all good things must come to an end, so did this...", and as I end this article, I cough up the courage to say for once and for all,

"Goodbye Blue Sky"...
